Our economy is roaring ahead in what appears to be the biggest stock market bull run ever experienced in South Africa!.

Government, through the agency of SARS, has collected more tax than ever but too little is getting to where it's needed most. Every day there are media reports of Government and Municipal services countrywide ... schools, hospitals, licencing, power, roads... that are mis-managed and in disarray. Yet everywhere there is evidence of unbridled GREED.... fleets of shiny new cars, bigger and bigger mansions, multi-million salaries and performance bonuses, for ruling party government lackeys, huge pay packages and lucrative share options for CEO's of 'big Gorilla' companies.

On the other side of the tracks ... AIDS is creating a growing population of Aids Orphans and Child 'Parent' households. The numbers of poor and destitute are growng. Refugees from Zimbabwe and elsewhere are streaming into the country, Crime is rampant. Many small businesses are struggling, and the general populous are agitating for more money, housing and basic services. There's a lot of misery and anger out there. Increasingly our governement is becoming an avarice-driven clepothugocracy.

If that's how it is in the best of times what can we expect when the bears prevail again?

Will it get better anytime soon? It does not look that way. ''THEY' should do something about all this, right?

Well, the bad news is that 'THEY' is You and I. Making sure it happens is in our own interest, that of our country and of our children who will inherit tomorrow. It is a fatal mistake to think that this, or any government, will make it happen.

The good news is that we can all contribute to a meanigfull, exciting project that will benefit others ... our broader social wellbeing ... and is structured in such a way that in doing so we can also improve our own financial wellbeing.

This is the purpose of this GIVE2GET ....EMPRESS PROJECT.

A solution to the problem of AIDS ORPHANS and CHILD PARENT Households is becoming increasingly urgent and our project aims to explore just one narrow avenue in which we can address this issue with a self-sustaining program.

How the project was born.

The gist of it is this: In 2002 WTT purchased an 832 acre farm in Nevada, USA, for a sum of .US$890,000 (about R6mil) The property had 257 acres of three year old Empress timber (Paulownia Fortunei) which happens to be a high value timber and the fastest growing hardwood timber tree in the World. WTT claimed that at maturity in five years (2007) they will harvest US$23 million in high value timber. In addition, carbon credits would add US$1,9 million. This represents a gross growth on investment of 2,500% over five years. Wow! Is this the best kept secret in farming opportunities?

I think you will agree that these figures are astonishing!!!

Further research revealed that there is a budding Empress timber industry in Australia (see www.qpfl.com.au) which indicates that these figures are not totally off the wall even if they are a little optimistic. In addition it has been established that Paulownia is not on the prohibited or even regulated alien tree list for South Africa. In fact, it is virtually unknown.

Given the diminishing natural hardwood supplies, resulting from the ongoing worldwide rape of wild jungles for hardwood timber, which is not being replaced, it is unlikely that the demand or the value of timber will fall in the forseeable future.

Current World prices (2007) of Empress timber range from A$800 to A$1,800 (R5,000 50 R12,000) per cubic meter depending on grade. A mature Empress will deliver around 1 cu meter of sawn timber. Empress trees regrow from stump up to seven times before re-planting is required so the initial procurement of top pedigree timber seedlings, cloned from proven timber stock, is a decidedly worthwhile 'once off ' expense.

Empress trees can be planted at up to 300 trees per acre but at 100 trees per acre allows for intercropping with cash crops during the years when trees are growing to maturity. This means that 100 acres can yield R50 million in 8 to 10 years. 100 acres x 100 trees per acre x R5000 (lowest current Australian price) per tree = R50 M in 2007 Rand value. (At maturity, allowing10 years, actual return will be about double ... R80M to R100M ... given anticipated inflation at 7%. Rule of 72 applied)

The question is: HOW TO TURN THIS INTO SOMETHING GOOD? The answer: The EMPRESS PROJECT

The EMPRESS PROJECT revolves around raising the funds required to acquire a suitable agricultural property. In fact a potential property for a pilot project has been identified. It is 63 hectares (130 acres) and is priced at R3,5 million. Potential yield in 8 to 10 years is R50 million. This represents recovery of the full purchase price of the property in less than one year!!     (As you will discover ....if you become a contributor and an Independent Field Agent with our Empress project, you should not have to wait more than a month or two before you are earning more than your contribution from commissions earned.)

How does this help Orphans and Child Parent households?

This is where we get to GIVE. Our pilot project aims to establish a facility on the property to accommodate 50 orphans. The orphans would have five years on the farm during which time they learn a wide range of farming skills in addition to regular school subjects. To encourage responsibility and pride each orphan will care for a small portion of the Empress tree plantation which needs to be kept free of weeds and grass. The sojourn on the farm will equip these young people, currently with few if any prospects, with a chance to become productive and take their part in building the agricultural sector of SA. After the five year term a new group come to the farm and the process is repeated. I believe that this pilot project can be scaled up considerably in time to provide numerous large scale self-financing timber farms along with poverty relief, training, and assistance to the needy beyond the confines of the Empress farm.

How can YOU GIVE?

Anyone who wishes to contribute to the Empress Project, but does not wish to participate in building the contributor base for reward as an IFA, is welcome to contribute any amount either as a single or sporadic contribution at any time or monthly by stop order. Contributors who become IFA's and earn commission contribute any fixed amount by monthly bank stop order or PayPal for overseas contributors.

How do you GET?

In order to build the contributor base (get the word out into the marketplace) the Empress Project has been established using a three level Network Marketing platform. A Contributor who CHOOSES to become an Empress Project IFA will earn commission on three commission levels as outlined in the Commission Distribution chart (click on 'GET' above) This NWM commission model leverages potential earnings for the IFA. Promotional activities of an IFA constitute 'work'. It is a SOHO and just as earnings are taxable, so expenses incurred ... home office, pc, telephone, travel, suitable attire, entertainment etc ... are legitimate tax deductions, subject naturally, to the dictates of the taxman.

When sufficient funds have accrued in the Empress Project Property Fund, the property already identified, or if not available at that time, another suitable property will be identified and acquired. Contributors will be kept fully informed of all developments on the Empress Project Contributors website.

As an IFA your growing network will generate ongoing passive income for you as long as you remain an active IFA contributor yourself.
When harvest time comes ... every eight to ten years ... the profits after any costs, taxes etc. will be distributed to active IFA contributors according to the total number and amount of contributions they have made. Aquisition of additional property for expansion will be derived from ongoing active contributor funding.
